Recycling and Waste
Mixed Bag cares about ethically disposing of waste. Why? We understand that the recycling industry is flooded with greenwashing. It's difficult to tell whether the items you recycle skip the landfill. Starting small, we've taken part of the problem into our own hands. We upcycle plastic bags in-house with the remaining scraps being donated to Trex. It's frustrating we're not able to tackle more types of waste but we hope to do more in the future.

CLEAN and DRY
It's important that all PLASTIC items are CLEAN and DRY before donation.
Taking 5 minutes to meet this standard helps us avoid mold and decay while processing. It also helps us build higher-quality products from our donated materials.
